Nautical Directions

Make for the whistle buoy RW "A" just southwest of Point Lookout, MD (approx 38:01N 076:21W). Proceed about 6 nm on course 322M to the RG "SM" buoy, then steer due north. You should be able to see the green day markers marking the channel into Carthagena Creek ahead on the port side. SMYC is just on the back side of Josh Point in the creek.
 

Driving Directions

From Northern Virginia and western DC area take I-95 across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and exit onto Rt 210 South (first exit after the bridge). Follow Rt 210 South approx 10 miles to the exit for Rt 228 East. Turn left onto Rt 228 and follow it across Rt 301 in Waldorf. Rt 228 becomes Rt 5 South, and follow it about 20 miles, and turn right to stay on it - going straight will put you on Rt 235 (This is easy to miss - look for the WaWa on the right). Follow Rt 5 past Leonardtown about 10 miles and turn right on Rt 249 (Piney Point Road). Go about 3 miles and turn left on Drayden Road. Continue 2 miles and turn right on Windmill Point Road, then a mile later turn left onto Dennis Point Way into the marina property.
